I was a student of the AIPC for four years and have completed Advanced Study Major 's in Child Development and Effective Parenting and Grief & Loss. I am a parent of three and now a Grandmother of six! The way I parented as a young mother was so totally different to the way parents of today parent. I see such a positive attitude to parenting now that is encouraging for the generations to come. I did not have a baby manual and it was all done, rightly or wrongly with intuition, Through my studies I learnt there was indeed a better way. I hope this site helps someone else who may be in need of some guidance.

I decided to write this after watching my son and daughter-in-law do instinctively what I had had to learn.
